Gravure sur verre
Atelier Timotéo Vitraux réalise des gravures par sablage sur presque tous types de supports en verre.
Idées cadeaux originales :
Nous créons des plaques de verre épais, à poser sur un socle en bois ou en pierre de Berchères. Nous personnalisons également des verres à boire avec le motif de votre choix ainsi que les initiales de la personne à qui est destiné le service.
La gravure est également très utile pour le vitrail car elle permet de créer une texture, des détails, faire apparaître d'autres couleurs au milieu d'un verre à couches (miroir, plaqué).

La gravure par sablage :
On cache le verre support avec du papier vinyle et du scotch de masquage.
Le cache qui donnera le motif (ou pochoir) est découpé à la main ou avec un plotter de découpe, genre d'imprimante où l'encre est remplacée par une lame.
Une fois l'objet totalement recouvert, on sable le motif dans une cabine de sablage ou en extérieur. Un jet de sable à haute pression est envoyé sur le verre, ce qui dépolit la surface du support, voire le creuse.
